Outdoor Learning Fun

It that time of the year to let the children out and just play!

Are they just playing?

When children are at meaningful play that is facilitated by adults, children are given the opportunity to experience many different types of learning opportunities.

These children are deeply engaged at play while building relationships, creating, building fine motor skills and learning the power of cooperation.

Dramatic play is in full swing as children role play a BBQ with friends.

These girls discovered that water evaporates.  They realized that when they painted with the water in the sun their water drawings didn't last long and they could not finishes some.  So they moved to a shaded area where they discovered that the evaporation process was a lot slower and they were able to finish a water painting before it disappeared from evaporation.

 More outdoor learning fun below.

  4. write highly parallel programs (though I am mostly ignorant about highly parallel programming). The trouble with being able to run all functions in parallel, though, is "what kind of processor allows running all functions in parallel"? I don't know of a system that makes forks and joins trivially cheap.

  6. The global Blood Collection Market is projected to reach USD 6.4 billion by 2025 from USD 4.8 billion in 2020, at a CAGR of 6.0% between 2020 and 2025. The major factors driving the growth of this market include the increasing incidence of infectious diseases, the rising number of accidents & trauma cases, the emergence of liquid biopsy tests, and a demand for blood donations and blood components. Both hospital and independent laboratories are generally reviewing each test to decide whether to recommend consultations with laboratory hematologists for tests with a higher risk profile or not offer tests that could not be performed safely. This affected the market negatively in the first few months of the pandemic, reducing the use of blood collection devices.

  7. I recently tried outdoor learning with my kids and it was amazing! We used Dr Booking to find a nearby nature reserve and had a blast exploring and learning about the environment. Highly recommend it for a fun and educational family activity!

  9. Outdoor learning is an enriching adventure. Just as visual exploration sparks curiosity, incorporating sonic components could deepen the experience. Imagine the rustle of leaves and chirping birds as you read! Your post captures the essence of hands-on education, and I'm curious about the potential auditory elements that could elevate outdoor learning. An inspiring read!
