I love how the parents were incorporated into the Thanksgiving feast. Were there any classroom expectations that were set for the making of the pumpkin pies?
Yes we went over everything during large group. We stared the project with a shared writing on how to make pumpkin pie. Then the following day we did another shared writing on the steps to making a pumpkin pie to see if they could recall.
