What’s In The Garden? Lesson Plan Giveaway

One of my favorite units to do with my preschool children this time of the year is gardening.   We are able to follow the unit through clear through the summer.  The children enjoy planting and picking what’s in the garden, but most of all they enjoy making things to eat from their very own garden.  Stir fry vegetables and salsa.

This lesson is made up of 83 pages of small group, movement activities and song ideas just to name a few.  Memory games, bingo games and math games are provided in the plan all you have to do is make copies for the children and teacher to use.

The great thing about these lesson plans from Kids World Exploration is that they are not just for preschool teachers, they are filled with ideas that...

Home Schooling Families can use with ideas as well.  The projects and games can be scaffold for the older children.  There are also activities that will benefit the older children as well.

Working Moms can us these lesson plans for ideas that will help them keep their children involved in the learning process while moms are cooking dinner and straitening up around the house.  Fun engaging activities to help those moms keep their little ones entertained and learning at the same time.

A hands on approach to learning through play

Kids World Exploration is a lesson plan for preschool teachers and day care providers. These lessons are divided into themes that will enable children to acquire information, and learning concepts through meaningful hands on activities. Children in your program will be given the opportunity to engage in meaningful, purposeful play through exploration. All of the plans will give children a variety of experiences in language, literacy, math, and science, art, physical, social, and emotional. Happy Hands are learning hands.


Kids World Exploration lessons will open the door for teachers to write a meaningful curriculum that is thoughtfully planned, challenging, and engaging to the individual children in each classroom environment. Teachers will be able to plan a comprehensive curriculum that addresses all aspects of the child’s developmental areas of need, social, emotional, cognitive, math, literacy, language, and physical development.


While using these plans teachers will have the opportunity to observe children as they participate, explore, and interact naturally with real objects. They will help free up time so that teachers will be able to collect meaningful anecdotal notes, photos, work samples, and other evidence that will help show each child’s skill’s and behaviors. In order to meet all State Standers and Assessment tools.


Each lesson has Plans for Circle Time, Small Group, Movement Games, Hands on Science, and Ideas for setting up the environment.
