Celebrating the End of Another School Year

The school year has come to end and in honor of being blessed with the care of their precious children, we celebrate the time that we spent together.  Looking back at a year of many accomplishments and to the future.
We celebrate with an enriching experiencing for the children and their families, sharing their time spent with us over the year and the significance that it held for us and the amazing accomplishments for them.
As the children were called one at a time we shared memories of their child as well as what each child told us they would be when they grew up.  This gave our proud parents time to take pictures, reflect on their child's growth and to think of the future.
We ended our time with an ice cream social where parents and children could talked and enjoy the time getting to know one another.

Planting Trees with Children and Families

Our outside play areas were in need of shade, so what better way to fix it then to have a family night tree planting party with BBQ.
The Sacramento Tree Foundation came to our school with 32 donated trees and staff to help our families plant a tree with their child.
We live in an urban forest.
The Sacramento Tree Foundation's mission is to grow healthy, livable communities in the Sacramento region by building the best regional urban forest in the nation. We are leading the effort to plant 5 million trees in our region.
