What to Wear in the Snow Freebie

I know that the sun is shining, but it is only 40 degrees outside and I still have some of my little ones coming in shorts and miniskirts. Am I missing something?

I think this will be a great activity to start my week off with.

The pocket chart comes with different types of clothing (winter and summer) children will identify the picture card and decide if that clothing item should be worn in the snow (winter) or not. Child then places the card under the right column.

Pete the Cat

If you have not taken the time to read any of the Pete the Cat books it's time that you do.

This fun loving cat has a great attitude no matter what. He can lose a button or get his new white shoes dirty, does Pete cry heaven no Pete just keeps on singing.

So if you have not picked up these great books for your classroom it is time that you do. Pete will sure capture the attention of all your little ones and then they will be singing too.
