We normally take a field trip the Bishops pumpkin patch, but since the school system has been getting budget cuts over the last few years a field trip to Bishops is out of the question. So we found a local farmer and he donated pumpkins to the school so that we could have our own school pumpkin patch.
Thank you Mr. Christy for delivery them and all!
The children found their own pumpkin and put it in a wheelbarrow and wheeled it to class.
Once in class the children weighed them.
Measured them.
They found a home for them through out the classroom. We will be using them for different projects through out the month. Stay toned to see what’s next.
How wonderful to get such a donation. The children must of loved them.
ReplyDeleteThey have we will be using them all this week. They will be making something from them and give it to the farmer.
ReplyDeleteField trips to the pumpkin patch are the BEST! Thanks for sharing.
